Welcome to Scatterbrained

A neurodivergent newsletter

Ever feel like your brain is a browser with 47 tabs open, and you’re not sure which one is playing the music? Hi, I’m Lu, the creator of Scatterbrained and Distraction Chronicles. I was diagnosed with ADHD in college, I never knew or suspected I had it, but the signs were there all along… daydreaming, unable to focus, losing track of time, and feeling overwhelmed by the most simple things. For years, I thought I was just bad at being a human. Then, everything clicked when I walked to my college guidance counselor and she gave me an assessment and a referral. I made this newsletter and my blog for all of us who feel like we’re living outside the lines, trying to make sense of the coloring book. So, welcome to Scatterbrained — let’s figure it out together!

What to Expect

My goal is for this newsletter is to share:

  • Look into the complexities of ADHD in adults.

  • Tips and strategies for managing the challenges.

  • Insights from the latest research.

  • Personal stories from me and our community.

  • Memes to soothe our “always-on” brain.

  • And music because why not?
